Building Community-Grounded ʻĀina-Based Service Learning with Students

HTA’s SY 24–25 HCYP initiative successfully piloted a model of student-led, ʻāina-based service learning centered at Hans LʻOrange Park, directly across from our Waipahu campus. Additionally, the HTA student leaders shared their philanthropic learning and experiences with other HTA students and hosted a peace building event in their community.
